This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Passionate Gammerz International ("Passionate Gammerz", "the Platform", "we", "us") uses on our website and applications, why we use them, and how you can control them. It forms part of, and must be read together with, our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. "Similar technologies" include local storage, pixels, and device identifiers. This policy treats all of them as "cookies".

2. The Cookies We Use

We use cookies in three categories only:

• Essential: required for the Platform to work, keeping you logged in, securing your session, preventing fraud, and protecting payment flows (session tokens, CSRF tokens, security/anti-fraud cookies). Cannot be disabled, the Platform will not function properly without them.
• Functional: remember your preferences, such as language and display settings (preference cookies, UI-state cookies). Can be disabled, some preferences may reset.
• Analytics: help us understand, in aggregate and anonymised form, how the Platform is used so we can improve it (page-visit and feature-usage analytics). Can be disabled, see "Your Choices" below.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some of the services the Platform relies on may set their own cookies or similar technologies when you use them:

• Paystack (payments): processing payments securely and fraud prevention; Paystack's own privacy/cookie terms apply to their cookies.
• Vercel / hosting infrastructure: serving pages, performance and security; see Vercel's privacy documentation.
• Supabase / database infrastructure: authentication and data storage; see Supabase's privacy documentation.
• Analytics provider (where enabled): anonymised usage measurement; their opt-out tools apply.

4. Live Streams and Mobile Data

Live streams on the Platform are thumbnail-first and never autoplay. No video plays until you explicitly tap to watch, so no media cookies are set and your mobile data stays under your control.

5. Your Choices

5.1 Consent banner. When non-essential cookies (functional or analytics) are used, we will show you a banner asking for your consent before they are set. You may accept, reject, or customise your choices. Essential cookies are always set because the Platform cannot function without them.

5.2 Browser controls. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings (typically under Settings → Privacy/Security). Deleting essential cookies may sign you out or prevent parts of the Platform from working.

5.3 Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw or change your cookie choices at any time through the cookie settings link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

5.4 Refusing analytics. Where analytics cookies are used, you can opt out via the consent banner or the analytics provider's opt-out mechanism.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Platform grows or as law requires. Material changes will be notified at least 7 days before they take effect, and each version carries its effective date and version number at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
